    Great beginner bow

This is a great bow to learn with. I use it in my yard. I am by no means a connoisseur, but I appreciate the value and the fact that it’s all polycarbonate. Nothing fancy, so it won’t break your heart if you scratch it or something. You will probably scratch it if you don’t use the stick in arrow rests. The handle could be more comfortable. Maybe it’s a beginner problem but it’s easy to graze the meat of your hand if you hold it too high up. It’s got an ambidextrous shelf which is handy if you share the bow with friends or want to try different finger releases. I bought mine new in a local archery shop for forty bucks. With those things considered I am very happy with the bow.

    Depends on how you shoot…..

    Good starter bow

First bow I bought. I got the 18 lb model and was very happy with it. If you are looking to try out archery to see if you like it, this is a great bow to start with.

    Go for it!

I love this bow!! Was able to string it by hand without any trouble. Took a couple of days to consistently hit the target center, but once you get it… I am so happy with it that I just ordered a long bow from SAS. I should say that I have no prior archery experience.

    Good practice warm up bow

Got the 26 lb to warm up with before shooting my heavier lb bows, like it, hit well a 30 yards, just 26 lbs! Maybe a little exspensive for a plastic composit bow but, would like it in 35 lb. Didn’t think it would hit well a 30yds, looks like i will shoot this more than i thought.

    Fun!

Price and product fairly listed. I received the Arc Rolan Snake at 26 pounds. It was the new model with improved grip and arrow rest area. Bow came in large plastic bag but completely covered inside with big bubble wrap. No damage or shipping problem. Ordered regular free shipping and the bow was delivered in four days cross country. Matching a good arrow based on spine and GPI is very important. Easton Legacy 700 spine and 100 gr tips fly fine. This is a fairly light weight arrow around 6 GPI on the shaft. Good starter bow and great low poundage bow for archery form practice. Low pull weight allows for a quick up and shoot release. I have bows costing hundreds of dollars, but this is a fantastic shooter than is lightweight, solid, and seemingly indestructible. Get a bow stringer and a string around 57 inches to get a correct brace height. Ok string that came with it, but a bit short…not allowing much brace range. I put a calf hair rest on shelf and wrapped handle with leather. Watch YouTube videos for moe information on shooting this bow.

Great bow to see if you want to shoot bow and arrow

This is not a bear hunting bow for killing wild hogs or Wolves or anything else this is a boat for beginners to get used to to to see if they like it and learn and practice to get the perfect technique down

  16. Juzbowman

    Perfect training bow

Not only is this the best bow to have around in case you get any friends who want to join you, its also perfect to train for right hand and left hand shooting and all the different kind of draws.
