    It works

    Can’t beat it for the money – a good value. I got the 45 lb. model and it is easy to shoot right out of the box with no modifications or extras. Could shot it just with a target sight. Wish I had bought the 55 lb. model because I can pull more than the 45 lbs.

    You WILL need a stringer!!!

    Beautiful, well constructed bow. However, there was nothing in the description that said you would need a stringer for this bow. I warped one of the limbs trying to string the bow without a stringer, but my son-in-law was able to take the warp out.

    I purchased one of these bows at my local range two months ago. It is an excellent entry level bow and with practice I am able to get tight groupings on the target. I was originally looking at the Samick Sage, but comparing the two bows I really thought the PSE was better looking. The pictures don’t really do justice to the beautiful wood on the riser. Performance and feel wise it is nearly identical to the Samick Sage. My bow is 25# which I feel was a good draw weight for a beginning archer. -male 5’6″ 200lbs,, muscular with belly :). Love this bow!!

    I likes the craftsmanship of the bow ,the bow looked so much better then the pictureI went to the archery range, I installed the sights , no problem with the sight,When I attempted to attach the whisker biscuit restI screwed the bolt in but the whisker biscuit was very loose it would not snug upIt would turned against the metal insertI didn’t have another rest so I was not able to use the bowI was very disappointed

    I’m a noob with archery but I’d say it’s very nice and a great value. I will pass on that it did not come with a stringer, felt or any sort of arrow rest. Those are things to consider as but the time you get arrows, glove, and everything else, you’ll probably have as much in all that as you will this bow. Overall, I am very happy with the bow.

    Listen, the bow is ok! Seems alright…However!! Why the heck is it so HARD to determine whether something is made in the US or abroad??? If Amazon could be straight forward, up front, and completely transparent with origin of product manufacturers, life could be easier. Shame on you PSE. Thought I was buying an American made product.

    If your looking for a bow that is entry level to traditional archery, then your choices should be the Samick Sage and this bow. Although, there are many reviews of the Sage, there are not a lot of the PSE Nighthawk. This is simply because the Nighthawk is newer. The price is right, I think you get more than what you pay for with this bow. The quality seems to be fine for a begining, but its no bear grizzly. I would recommend getting a string silencer, and gloves when shooting. If you are new to archery, get the 35 limbs so that your form does not suffer. If you are looking for a hunter bow, the 45 lb will be just fine. I have enjoyed this bow thus far. It is accurate, fast, and bare bones, just what I am looking for.
